App Declutter — Privacy Policy

1. Our Approach

The App is designed so that your personal information and your app-usage records are never sent to or collected by any server of the Operator. All watch-related records are stored only on your device. The Operator does not operate any server that stores user information.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

To provide its features, the App stores the following information on your device (in a storage area dedicated to the App):

Information about the apps you selected to watch — stored as anonymous identifiers (tokens) issued by iOS, not as app names or other text
For each watched app, the date and time use was last confirmed, when it was added to watching, and when you chose "Keep"
Your settings (judgment days; notification on/off, weekday, and time)
The App's operation log (start of watching, use detected, etc.; up to the latest 200 entries)
Whether the "Unlimited Apps" purchase has been made

None of this information is transmitted to anyone outside your device, including the Operator.

3. The Screen Time (Family Controls) Permission

The App asks for access to iOS Screen Time in order to provide its watching feature.
Through this permission, the only thing the App receives is the fact of whether a selected app was used for a total of at least 1 minute on a given day.
The usage-time graph is rendered inside a privacy-preserving mechanism provided by Apple (a dedicated display area). By Apple's design, neither the App itself nor the Operator can extract the app names or usage times shown there.
You can revoke the permission at any time in the iOS Settings app. If revoked, the watching feature stops working.

4. Notifications

The App may ask for notification permission for its once-a-week reminder. The notification contains only the number of declutter candidates; it never contains app names.
Notifications are local notifications scheduled and shown on your device. No external push-notification server is used, and no information about you is sent anywhere for notifications.
Notification permission is optional. All features other than notifications work without it. You can change the notification settings at any time in the App's settings screen or in the iOS Settings app.

5. External Communication

The App itself never sends information to any server of the Operator or to any analytics service. The only external communication is with the following Apple services:

In-app purchase: When you purchase or restore "Unlimited Apps," the App communicates with Apple's App Store. Payment is processed by Apple. The Operator never receives your credit card details, your name, or your Apple Account information. What the Operator receives from Apple is limited to sales statistics that cannot identify individuals.
Statistics from Apple: If you have enabled "Share with App Developers" in your iOS analytics settings, Apple may collect crash data and usage statistics and provide them to the Operator in a form that cannot identify individuals. This is Apple's mechanism, and you can change it at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements.

6. What We Do Not Collect

The App uses no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, and no other third-party SDKs
The App has no account feature and does not obtain your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or similar data
The App does not track you and does not collect any data subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

7. Deleting Your Data

Records for an app removed from watching (including when you remove it via "Declutter") are deleted from your device at that time
Deleting the App from your device deletes all records the App has stored
Because the Operator holds no data about you, there is no data you would need to ask the Operator to delete

8. Children

The App is not designed for children. Regardless of age, the App does not collect anyone's personal information.

9. Your Rights Outside Japan (EU, UK, US States, etc.)

The laws of your country or region (such as the EU GDPR, UK data protection law, and US state privacy laws) may grant you rights such as access to, correction of, and deletion of personal data. By design, the Operator does not obtain or hold your personal data, so there is normally no data held by the Operator to which such requests could apply. 10. Information Received When You Contact Us

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the content of your inquiry. We use them only to respond to and support your inquiry, we do not provide them to third parties, and we delete them after a reasonable period following the completion of our response.

11. Changes to This Policy

If we change this Policy, we will publish the updated version on this page. For material changes, we will also give notice by appropriate means such as an in-app notice.
