FAQ

Q. No declutter candidates show up. How long until one appears?

No candidates appear right after you start watching an app. An app becomes a "declutter candidate" only after no use has been confirmed for the number of days you set (7, 14, 30, or 60 days; the default is 30). If you watch a whole category, every app inside it at that moment is added individually to watching.

Q. I'm not getting the weekly reminder notification

A notification with only the number of declutter candidates arrives on the weekday and time you set (the default is Sunday at 7:00 PM). Check that notifications aren't turned off in the App's settings, and that the weekday and time are set as you expect. Also check that notifications are allowed for the App in iPhone Settings.

Q. I want to watch more than 3 apps

The free tier lets you watch up to 3 apps at the same time. Purchasing "Unlimited Apps" (a one-time ¥500 purchase) removes the limit.

Q. I purchased, but the limit isn't unlocked

Try "Restore Purchases" in the settings screen or on the paywall. You need to be signed in with the same Apple Account you used for the purchase.

Q. I want to delete an app

Because of an iOS restriction, the App cannot delete other apps directly. Tap "Declutter" on a candidate to see deletion instructions, delete the app yourself from your Home Screen, and then choose "Deleted" to remove it from watching. If you're not ready, choose "Keep" instead — the app is removed from the candidate list until its use is confirmed again.

Q. I accidentally denied the Screen Time permission

Go to iPhone Settings > Screen Time (or similar) and grant the permission again, or reopen the App and allow it again from the permission prompt.

Q. A newly installed app isn't being watched

When you choose to watch a category, only the apps in that category at that moment are added. Apps installed later are not added automatically — add them individually if you want to watch them.

Q. Is my data sent anywhere?

No. Everything is processed entirely on your device, and nothing is sent to any server. App names are never stored; apps are managed using anonymous tokens issued by iOS. Records for an app removed from watching are deleted from your device. See the Privacy Policy for details.

Q. I'd like a refund

Payment is processed by Apple, and refunds are decided by Apple. Please request one via Apple's Report a Problem page.
