Battery Memo is a simple iPhone app that records which batteries your remotes, thermometers, clocks, toys, flashlights, and other household items use.
Q. Where is my data stored?
All data is stored only on your device. There is no login, no advertising, and no analytics. Nothing you register is sent to the developer's servers or to any third party.
Q. What happens to my data if I delete the app?
Deleting the app also deletes its data. If you use iCloud Backup, the data may be included in your device backup.
Q. How do I delete a device or battery I registered?
Press and hold a card in the list to delete it. You can also delete from the bottom of the detail screen.
Q. How much does it cost?
The app is free to download and use. You can register up to 5 devices for free, and there is no limit on battery stock entries. Only if you want a 6th device or more, a single one-time in-app purchase removes the limit. There is no monthly or annual subscription.
Q. Can I keep my purchase when I switch devices?
Yes. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID, use "Restore Purchase" in the Settings tab or on the purchase screen. You will not be charged again. Note that your device and battery entries are stored only on your device, so restoring them is separate and requires an iCloud backup.
Q. Can I get a refund?
Purchases and refunds are handled entirely by Apple, and the developer cannot process refunds. Please request one through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
